Sunday is your last chance to visit the Bazaart urban art event in Bethnal Green. I went to the launch night on Thursday, as it was immensely busy I went again on Saturday. I found my look-a-like in a painting by Henry Reeve (see below). Yup! Like I said before, it is a must go for those who like urban art.
A new incredible track by The Horrors appeared online on their own website earlier this week. The track is called Sea Within A Sea and is taken from the new album Primary Colours, which is out on 4th May. Download the track or check out the video for Sea Within A Sea at www.thehorrors.co.uk

That's a massive impressive list of artists, yes? They all are participating in LAB's Bazaart from 19th until 22nd March. This event is taking place in a 5000 square feet venue in Bethnal Green and it brings a collection of new, original artworks, prints, jewellery, sewing etc. etc. During the launch night on Thursday (7-11pm) a few artists will be live painting and there are DJs and bands for the entertainment. A definitive must go for those who like street art.

Do you ever watch over someone's shoulders when he/she is typing a text message and you are trying to read what it says? I did so yesterday when watching a band called Three Trapped Tigers. The text message said: 'Three Trapped Tigers are the best band I have seen in ages.' He typed more, but it is this message that says it all. Ok, I tend to see a lot of live bands and they are therefore not the best band I have seen in ages, but they certainly are a fantastic live band. It is the lots and lots of machines (YES!) on stage, the energy and their amazing drummer, which makes them ubercool. Thanks Fab for introducing me to this threesome.
Both Delphic and The Golden Filter played at The Queen of Hoxton as part of Dummy night. The Queen of Hoxton only opened a few weeks ago and Dummy was celebrating the launch of its website, so a good reason to pop down to 1 Curtain Road. It was Delphic who I wanted to see. A simple hello and goodbye is all they said, as there was no stopping them. No breaks in between songs, just boom, boom, boom! Delphic most definitely have a good future ahead of them. Well, they are supporting Phoenix at Koko on 1st June, where I will be and I would like to see them again before that. The Golden Filter from NYC surprised me a lot with their discoish sound. I can now understand why DJs such as Tiga and Erol have 'Solid Gold' playlisted in their sets. Cool, very cool!
This new Banksy was dropped in the London district Dalston on Saturday morning. The exact location is Gillett Square. Another Banksy was dropped on the A1/Northern Circular junction in Finchley (photo). I will do some hunting over there next weekend. It was already very exciting for me to wake up early today to spot the above newly fresh painted Banksy. (close up) The additional white bit is a breakbeat dancefloor. Boom, boom!
